Hole.io is a hilarious multiplayer game in which you can swallow up whole towns and cities as a sentient black hole. Start small and work your way up from people and traffic cones to cars, trees, huises, and even enormous buildings and castles. Now expanded with lots of extra city maps!
How do you play Hole.io?
In this spectacular .io game, you control a small black hole that has appeared in a random town or city somewhere in the world. Your aim is to grow as big as possible by sucking up anything and everything you can exert enough gravitational pull on.
The more you consume, the bigger you become. As you grow, more of the map will become visible as well. You can also gobble up other players, as long as they are smaller than you are. This will earn you extra points and knock them out for five seconds.
Destroy settlements and towns in the Viking era, feudal Japan, or medieval Germany. Demolish a pirate’s treasure island, or lay waste to the Wild West. You can also travel forward in time and rampage through a modern city, a futuristic sci-fi world, a post-apocalyptic hell-scape, and many other imaginative surroundings!
Unleash complete chaos and unlock all of the available skins and the amazingly detailed level maps! This popular game will continue to expand and improve, so keep coming back to check for updates.
What are good Tips and Tricks for playing Hole.io?
Avoid other players early on
Early in the game, it’s best to stay away from other players. The items smaller players can suck up are limited, so the competition for food is high. You might end up trailing behind other players and get stuck scrambling for left-overs. Instead, look for places like parks, gardens, and farmyards, which tend to have lots of small plants, compact hay bales, and other little items you can consume quickly.
Bigger isn’t always better
Once you get bigger, it’s tempting to try to go for much bigger items. Bigger items do yield more growth points, but they are often more difficult to suck up. You can misjudge the size of items quite easily, and tall structures might topple sideways and get stuck. Often swallowing a large amount of smaller objects in one go results in faster growth.
Use gravity to pull in larger items
That said, in this physics based game, you will be able to swallow bigger items in a pinch by using gravitational pull. In some cases, you can approach items such as gates more slowly from one side and slide along lengthwise, making it topple in. Sometimes slowing down helps keep tall items from falling over and getting trapped.
It ain’t over till it’s over
If you get eaten by another player, don’t waste any time. You might not be able to eat anything, but you can still move around. Keep moving during the time it takes to resurrect and use these precious seconds to scout out a strategic place to respawn.
